Apple Tree Christian Preschool and Kindergarten is a ministry of Broomfield United Methodist Church. Our mission is to prepare God’s children for their lifelong journey of learning by instilling Christian values, developing positive social skills, and encouraging academic success.

Apple Tree is a Colorado Shines rated school, showing commitment to supporting children’s health and safety, ensuring staff are well-trained and effective, providing a supportive learning environment, and helping families be active in their children’s learning.

The thematically based preschool curriculum is developmentally age-appropriate and provides a balance of child-centered choices and teacher guided experiences in a Christian environment. Each month a different superhero of the Bible is introduced to the students. Each story is presented in an age appropriate way through learning center activities, stories, songs, games, and art projects.

Apple Tree’s Parents Day Out (PDO) program offers families of children aged 3 to 5 an opportunity to introduce their child to a formal preschool setting in a way that works with the schedule of many of today’s families. With its flexible scheduling options parents can take advantage of offering their child the chance to interact with other children and develop important social/emotional and academic skills in a Christian school setting without the commitment or costs of a year-long school schedule.

Space is available!

The tuition cost is $34 a day for the 2025/2026 school year.
Families will be able to enroll in PDO for the 2025/2026 school year on July 1, 2025 using the Kangaroo Time app. Upon receipt of the completed registration form, an account in Kangaroo Time will be created and you will receive an email giving you instructions on how to use the app. You can enroll in PDO up to 180 days in advance and then proceed to enroll as the days continue to open.

When does enrollment start?

You will be able to enroll your student in PDO beginning July 1 before each school year. You will use your Kangaroo Time app to enroll, and you will be able to do so up to 180 days in advance. (That is as far as the app allows.) It is highly encouraged that parents go out as far as they can and then continue week to week with the enrollment if they are depending on certain days, as the classes can fill quickly.

What are the times and dates of PDO? Does the program run all school year?

Will enrollment be via the Kangaroo app?

Will we be able to select all the days we need until through the end of the school year or will it be monthly/semesterly?

The app allows you to enroll up to 180 days in advance. It is highly encouraged that families continue enrolling week to week, or, even day to day after that 180 days to ensure you get the days that you want. Enrolling in July means that you can enroll through the end of December. On July 2, a family can enroll for January 2, so families should continue enrolling for the remainder of the school year frequently.

Is it a no refund policy once we select and pay for our chosen dates?

You pay for PDO month to month. If you sign up for a bunch of dates in, say, November, if you cancel them before October 25, you will not pay for them at all. If you cancel them after the 25th, your account will automatically charge the payment method that you have on file (bank account or credit card). At that point, we can then refund your payment source, or you can carry a credit on the account that will apply to next month’s tuition. Otherwise, you do need to cancel your PDO 48 hours in advance to receive a credit or refund.
