Opening Liturgy (11:15am)
All: We come ready to notice, ready to listen, ready to join in.
One: The Spirit has given each of us gifts to share, and no one is called to this work alone.
All: We belong to God, and we belong to one another.
One: Together, we join God’s work of love, justice, reconciliation, and hope.
All: And in sharing the work, we discover joy.
One: Together, we open our hearts to God and to each other.
All: With shared mission and shared joy, let us find a sense of home together. Amen.
Unison Prayer (11:15am)
God of love and joy, root our lives deeply in Your love. Remind us that we are beloved and teach us to see that same sacred worth in one another. Shape us into people who love with courage, generosity, compassion, and grace. Fill us with a joy deeper than our circumstances; a joy that can hold sorrow, resist despair, and sustain hope. When fear threatens to overwhelm us, draw us back to your love. When the world feels divided, help us choose connection and community. May the love we receive become the love we share and may the love we share become a source of joy, healing, and hope for us and for the world. Amen.
