Broomfield UMC Field Trips: Our Journey Together
Jesus’ Disciples followed Him from place to place, to learn, engage, and practice the Way of Jesus. Being in new spaces, learning from different voices, and engaging in community are spaces that nurture our own discipleship. Broomfield UMC Field Trips: On the Journey Together will include learning opportunities beyond Broomfield UMC. These Field Trips are with trusted partners and are on topics that intersect with our faith journeys. Some of these events can be in person and others can be virtual, all encouraging us to consider how our faith informs what it means to be in community.
Field Trips can conjure up thoughts of adventure, learning, and an expectation that the experience will be meaningful, even if it is on a topic that is unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or even one that we feel averse to. The Disciples were often in unfamiliar spaces, but it is in those moments that they learn something about themselves, about others, and the power of God’s love that moves among them. So as followers of Jesus Christ, let us come along on the journey together!
