Serve Weekend 2024
Broomfield United Methodist, Holy Comforter Episcopal, Presbyterian Church of Broomfield, United Church of Broomfield, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and The City and County of Broomfield have joined together again this year to host SERVE Weekend on September 28 and 29 to connect with and serve our community. On Saturday 9/28, we’ll participate in a variety of service projects, and on Sunday 9/29 we will gather following worship for a community party.
Saturday, 9/28
8:30am Sendoff from Broomfield UMC (545 W 10th Ave, Broomfield 80020, west side)
Welcome, final instructions, and sendoff
9am-Noon Serve projects at multiple locations
Sunday, 9/29
Attend worship at your church
11:15am: Community Celebration at Broomfield United Methodist Church (545 W. 10th Ave. Broomfield, CO 80020, on the west lawn)
Following our day of service on Saturday, all the participating churches will regather on Sunday, 9/29, at Broomfield UMC for a community party that begins at 11:15am. There will be free food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to connect with one another. Please bring a blanket/lawn chair, an umbrella for shade, and come enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

4 | Global Hope Letter Writing | Join us as we write letters to the children in various orphanages. Letters are sent each year at this time to encourage them to work hard to complete their academic year. | 10 | United Church of Broomfield |
5 | Hope House | Hope House would love help with various cleaning projects. This work will help them maintain having "excellent environment" standards so it can continue to be a clean, calm, and welcoming place for teen moms. | 10 | Hope House |
