Our Sunday morning experience uses a variety of learning styles to creatively teach the Bible stories to all ages, keeping things fun, fresh and exciting each week!

Our Broomfield UMC li'l kids experience the story in a hands on interactive way followed by activities to help them tie the message to their everyday life!

Our Broomfield UMC kids (elementary ages) learn through cooking, art, games, video, science, computer lab and music and drama to help make the story relevant and exciting.

Our 9:45am Grapple kids (4th and 5th) enjoy lessons targeted specifically to preteens, to help them “grapple” with their faith questions as they begin to own it for themselves!

Our kids’ music program is a regular component in our Sunday School hour each week. All ages come together for a brief time each hour for music and worship. This program also offers opportunities to participate in two musicals per year, and sing in worship services often. Our kids’ music director brings amazing experience and the ability to bring out the very best in our kids. End result? Kids sharing God’s message of love through the gift of their voices.

Parenting and finding time to stay connected in marriage can be a challenge when raising kids. We partner with our discipleship ministry to bring impactful parenting and marriage seminars to the adults in our kids’ lives.

serve

Kids learn the importance of serving others through our mission projects throughout the year. Some are annual projects we all look forward to, such as

• making and selling Christmas cookie mix jars to benefit orphanages in Kenya, India and Romania
• filling Operation Christmas Child gift boxes
• preparing snack bags for the homeless
• decorating placemats with love and encouragement for a woman’s prison ministry

connect

Our trained childcare staff and volunteers love connecting with our kids each week. All have been background checked and trained, and love welcoming and spending time with your kids at our Broomfield UMC programs.

impact

Parents share with us that kids are coming home and telling them about what they’ve learned. One dad recently shared they were watching a movie as a family which referenced the prodigal son, their 5 year old starting telling them everything he had just learned in Sunday School about the parable Jesus taught. Other families share their kids love the variety of styles used to teach Bible stories. Each child seems to have a favorite including cooking, art, games, science, music-drama and video!

WACKY WEDNESDAY
Our Wacky Wednesday program is truly a niche ministry. Due to smaller group sizes, our team is able to truly get to know these kids and we see them learning and growing in their faith in leaps and bounds.

MOVIE NIGHT/PJ PARTY
Parents thank us regularly for our Movie Night/PJ Party ministry each month. Many tell us that is the only time each month that they can have a date night with their spouse or time to themselves to refuel. So it is truly a marriage ministry as much as a ministry to kids.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Our signature special events each year really do offer fun for the whole family, for all ages!  We are regularly told that these events are tradition for many of our families and they look forward to each one every year to make new family memories and keepsakes.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
A Christian theme based summer bible school for kids 4yrs (by September 30)-grade 5! Grades 6 and up are welcome to volunteer. Registration begins mid-March.
