Our Special Christmas Offering
Every year Broomfield UMC chooses three organizations to be the recipients of our special Christmas Eve worship offering where 100% of the funds collected for our special offering are divided among the organizations evenly.
The 2024 Christmas recipients are:
33% Friends Forever (friendsforevercolorado.org)
A Colorado based Christian organization providing support, at little or no cost to families, for regular, sustainable social relationships for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults by fostering a community of support through weekly social gatherings, field trips, and seasonal camps.
33% Together Colorado (togethercolorado.org)
Works alongside people of various faith traditions to create a better world by organizing volunteers and leaders in communities across Colorado so that our thoughts, words, and actions place human dignity and care for creation at the center of public life. Together Colorado has been instrumental in helping faith communities in Broomfield, including Broomfield UMC, in our work to make affordable housing a reality for all.
33% United Methodist Committee on Relief – UMCOR (umcmission.org/umcor)
The humanitarian and relief arm of the United Methodist Church that comes alongside those who suffer from natural or human-caused disasters to alleviate suffering and serve as a source of help and hope for the vulnerable. Our giving will go directly to those impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton.
To make a gift to the Christmas offering, place a check in the offering plate with "Christmas" in the memo, visit bit.ly/BroomfieldGiving and select Christmas Giving from the drop-down list. Join us for Christmas Eve worship to contribute via special offering envelopes.
