Prayer Requests

Welcome to our prayer request page. Whether you're praying for healing, guidance, travel mercies, protection, or want to offer prayers of celebration or encouragement—whatever your needs—we encourage you to submit them via our website at any time. Prayer requests may be detailed and personal, or may be anonymous. You may choose to make your prayer request public to the community, in which case it will be posted on this page within one business day and will remain for one month. Prayer requests that are not posted on the website will be forwarded to the BUMC prayer chain.
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

My sister was the victim of a hit and run and is in hospital. Prognosis is unknown at this time but she should survive. Please pray for her.

Hello and thank you. It is June 5, 2010. I am scared and I will be going to Mass tomorrow, but I want to sleep tonight knowing God will be helping me. I keep having thoughts that are not like me. Not thoughts of harming others, just...they are not normal and I want them to stop. I was having these thoughts a lot in the shower and started to recite the Our Father and sing Ave Verum in my head just to drown it out. I slept with a Cross in my hand last night and plan to wear one to bed tonight. I'm really scared. Please pray this evil feeling will go away! Thank you for any help you can offer.
